Questions!
Oh I’m SO upset, because I made this super rad video answering all your questions, and it had my face in it and there were words coming out of my face and I juggled (maybe?) and I was charming and hilarious and YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT because tumblr is being a stupid dumb and not letting me upload it.
That was one sentence, ya’ll. That’s how serious this is.
So heeeeeere we go anyway!
Anonymous asked: What Disney things would you like to include in your wedding ? :)
To be perfectly honest I don’t see my wedding being OVERLY Disney. I mean there will definitely be a lot of little Disney touches, but not too much. There are tons of little things, I could seriously go on for hours; but don’t worry, I won’t! I don’t really want to get married on property, so that right there sets me apart from a lot of female CM’s! I do have to admit that YES, I am one to daydream about my wedding. I didn’t when I was very young, I probably started when I was 17. But even if I were to fall in love tomorrow, a wedding would be AT LEAST three years away. So I have some time to plan. =)
Anonymous asked: How do you handle it when a princess has a meltdown?
Usually it’s up to the parent, because most meltdowns have to do with being scared. And since we’re a part of the fear, we can’t help out too much. But we usually get another FGIT to help out, get a princess book, talk to her. Basically what you would expect!
briiiina asked: That darn auto correct has struck again. haha. idk why I thought to ask but I was curious. also I share your love for Mary Poppins. I would try all the time to get my parents to get a nanny like her. haha
Yes, it happens to the best of us! And yes, Mary Poppins is THE GREATEST. I want to know how someone becomes a magical nanny. Are you born with it, or can you become one? I know I could never do it, though. I wouldn’t stick to my duty, I would stay with Bert, I’m afraid. =)
Anonymous asked: Hello…where did you get your “Burt” bag? I work here in the charter department at Disneyland and would love to get one…. :)
I made the bag myself! As I’m sure you know, you can’t find Mary Poppins merchandise ANYWHERE at the parks, so sometimes you have to get a little creative!
Anonymous asked: what is a diary godmother?
Hahaha, that was a typo! She meant fairy!
Anonymous asked: how big is the college program? if i know someone from it from the same time you were there are the chances good of you knowing him?
The odds are against you, but you never know! Who is it?
kalikala asked: As if that typo wasn’t good enough on its own, I read “diary godmother” as “dairy godmother”, as if you frolic around tossing people cartons of milk.
I don’t know what makes you think I don’t.
batanka asked: So I have applied for the Disney College Program, just starting the process. My question is, did you begin in this program? And, did you take time off from college to work with Disney? Also, I love this blog!
Well thank you! And yes, you MUST take off at least one semester of school to do the DCP. My one semester has so far turned into…over a year and coming. But for the college program, one semester. Best wishes on your application!
Thanks for the questions, guys; keep them coming!
